  1. Bugatti Veyron Super Sports $2,400,000. Selain mobil termahal, mobil keren ini merupakan mobil mobil tercepat. Karena, dapat mencapai 0-60 percepatan dalam 2,5 detik. Juga merupakan mobil tercepat ketika dilakukan uji coba pada 10 Juli 2010 dengan Versi 2010 Super Sport mencapai kecepatan tertinggi dari 267 mph.
  2. Pagani Zonda Clinque Roadster $1,850,000. Salah satu mobil paling eksotik dan paling mahal di dunia. Kecepatannya juga luar biasa, dapat mencapai 0-60 dalam 3.4 detik dengan kecepatan maksimum 217 mph.
  3. Lamborghini Reventon $1,600,000. Mobil tini adalah mobil Lambirghini yang paling mahal. Dibutuhkan 3,3 detik untuk mencapai 60 mph dan memiliki kecepatan tertinggi 211 mph. Kelangkaannya bahan dan komposisi mobil serta dan disain yang luar biasa membuat mobil ini sangat mahal

Mobil balap bukanlah kendaraan biasa. Mereka adalah mahakarya yang dirancang untuk melakukan hanya satu hal,yaitu untuk menang. Kinerja mereka dimaksimalkan melalui perkembangan teknologi dan puluhan tahun pengalaman dalam riset.

Kalibrasi dilakukan sedekimian detail untuk memastikan gabungan dari berbagai bagian mereka untuk mencapai kesempurnaan. Meskipun alasan utama penciptaan mereka adalah untuk memenangkan perlombaan, mereka kadang-kadang begitu indah kalau hanya dipandang sebagai kendaraan semata, terlepas dari keberadaan mereka sebagai mesin yang menakjubkan.

Jika dilihat oleh mata yang tak terlatih, kecerdikan teknis mereka tidak akan dipertimbangkan, di atas keberadaan atas penampilan glamor mereka. Kebanyakan mobil yang akan ditampilkan disini adalah mobil klasik, muscle car dan mobil kelas atas dalam balap internasional.

Penilaian berdasarkan bentuk, konsep, keindahan, dan kejayaan mobil tersebut dalam dunia balap atau dari jumlah terbanyak memenangkan kejuaraan diseluruh dunia, jadi bukan berdasarkan kemahalan, bentuk yang futuristis, atau merek mobilnya.



1. 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa

Mobil ini dianggap sebagai salah satu yang paling menakjubkan di antara daftar Ferrari. Hanya 22 mobil dibuat antara tahun 1957 dan 1958. Masih akan menelan biaya total 5 juta dolar jika satu dari mobil ini dibeli hari ini.






2. 2003 Bentley Speed

Dibuat untuk satu tujuan, yaitu untuk memenangkan Balap 24 jam LeMans. Setelah 73 tahun Bentley ini ditunggu, Speed dibuat kembali dan datang dengan gebrakan yang hebat. Meskipun harus menunggu selama 2 tahun untuk menguji kehebatannya, Speed masih berdiri menjadi no.2 di daftar mobil balap terhebat.





3. 1968 Ford GT40 MK II

Di kejuaraan, LeMans hanya melihat satu mobil dalam sejarah yang diuji kehebatannya selama 2 kali. Ford GT40 MK II adalah kuda emas yang diciptakan untuk mencetak kemenangan pada tahun 1968 dan 1969.





4. 1997 Mercedes Benz CLK GTR

Mercedes AMG membuat mahakarya ini untuk balapan di FIA GT Championship pada tahun 1977. Mercedes juga membangun beberapa model untuk penggunaan jalan umum meskipun mereka ternyata menjadi pemenang balap jalanan





5. 2005 Aston Martin DBRS9

Kuda besi yang satu ini dibangun untuk bersaing di FIA GT Championship dan kejuaraan 24 jam LeMans. DBRS9 mempunyai kembaran yang dibangun sebagai sebuah model lebih murah





6. 1966 Ferrari 330 P3

Ferrari 330 P3 dianggap sebagai mobil Ferrari yang paling indah yang pernah dibuat. Hal ini juga membawa teknologi injeksi bahan bakar menjadi model utama di Ferrari





7. 1965 Shelby Daytona Coupe

Mobil iini diciptakan hanya untuk keperluan balap mobil. Antara tahun 1964 dan 1965 hanya enam mobil yang dibuat.





8. 1971 Porsche 917

Dalam Le Mans tahun 1970 dan 1971, Porsche menjamin mereka yang akan memenangkan kejuaraan secara keseluruhan. Dengan kecepatan tertinggi lebih dari 240 mph, 917 Porsche adalah mesin ajaib yang membawa pengemudinya menuju kemenangan.

Brabus Tesla Roadster.


The first tuned electric car comes with Brabus Tesla Roadster: The first project of the future cooperation between Tesla Motors, Inc. and the new Brabus business division Zero Emission celebrates its world debut at the 2008 Essen Motor Show. Brabus presents an exclusive customization program for the Tesla Roadster, the world's first electrically powered production sports car.

The new Brabus logo with added lightning bolt is the trademark of Brabus Zero Emission vehicles.

To give the sports car a more exciting sound the Brabus electronics specialists have developed a 'space sound generator.' The occupants on-board the Brabus Tesla Roadsters can choose from several simulated engine sounds including that of a typical V8 combustion engine, a racecar engine and two futuristic soundscapes named 'Beam' and 'Warp.' The volume of the sound is dependent on the momentary power output of the electric motor.

A custom-tailored Brabus tire/wheel combination further improves handling characteristics. The two-seater is refined with weight-optimized Brabus Monoblock S light-alloy wheels in size 7Jx18 in front and in size 8.5Jx19 in back. Brabus technology partner Pirelli provides the corresponding P Zero Nero high-performance tires in size 215/35 ZR 18 in front and in size 255/30 ZR 19 on the rear axle. These tires were developed to deliver minimum rolling resistance.

The two-seater also receives an even more striking exterior at Brabus. The customization measures include a special high-quality 'matte white' paintjob. To give the mid-engine sports car an even more enticing face the Brabus designers treat the front apron to a lightweight carbon-fiber front lip and daytime running lights integrated into the front grille. Matte-white surrounds for the headlamps add interesting detail to the overall effect.

The sides of the Tesla are upgraded with Brabus entrance lights shaped like futuristic space lights. They are activated with the keyless fob or by pulling on a door handle. Brabus carbon-fiber air inlets add even more sporty flair. Immediately apparent in the rear are the Brabus rear wing and the Brabus rear diffuser, both made from light yet extremely strong carbon fiber. The round taillights are accentuated further by matte-white applications.

The Brabus customization program for the Tesla Roadster also includes exclusive interior options. The range of products starts with scuff plates with illuminated Brabus logo. They are integrated into the top of the rocker panels.

The company-own Brabus upholstery shop masterfully handcrafts exquisite custom interiors for the Tesla. The designers chose a combination of especially soft yet durable Brabus perforated lightweight leather and Alcantara. The cockpit features white seams to reflect the exterior color. The vehicle floor is also upholstered with lightweight leather for added exclusivity.

The goal of the Brabus customization concept for the Tesla Roadster is to define a potential limited edition as well as an individual tuning program for the Tesla driver.

3rd Generation Toyota Prius With Hybrid Synergy Drive.

The new third generation Toyota Prius is rated at 50mpg, but its sales may not be exceedingly spectacular during these (temporary) times of low oil prices. Prius sales dropped 45% in the end of 2008, and things are so bad across the product range that they’ve announced that they’re suspending all vehicle production in all 12 Japanese plants for 11 days over February and March.
Even if oil prices don’t rise in the near future, Toyota is hoping for the whole “greening” of America to boost Prius sales, fueled by demand from environmentally-conscious buyers, as long as they don’t find out how damaging to the environment the production of a Prius is, despite the Prius itself being a greener car than a regular sedan or hatchback.

Toyota says the new Prius is roomier, quieter, more advanced and has more equipment. It even has a moonroof equipped with a solar panel located over the rear seating area. As previously speculated, the solar panels only powers the air circulation fan for the air conditioning system, not even the whole air conditioning system! This fan can function while the car is unoccupied, which means it can keep the car’s interior cool while it is parked under the hot sun.

As for styling, the original shape has been retained since it has become iconic, defining what a hybrid should look like so much that even Honda was “inspired” by it for the new second generation Honda Insight. But it is larger, with the original shape stretched and moulded to its new proportions. The front headlamps have a unique shape to them, okay maybe not exactly unique, we recently saw the exact same thing on the new Nissan 370Z!

The Atkinson cycle engine under the hood is now larger and more powerful, clocking in at 1.8 liters on the displacement scale and putting out 98 horsepower at 5,200rpm and 142Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The electric motor puts out 80hp and 208Nm of torque, but combined output of the two systems are 134 horsepower. Power from the two “engines” go through an electronically controlled CVT transmission. The hybrid battery pack is still a NiMH (no move to lithium ion yet). The Prius can run in 3 modes - EV, Eco and Power. EV is an electric-only mode (which can run for about 1.6km, good for short trips to the shop or mamak), while Eco and Power should be self explanatory.

There are a few engineering improvements in the new Prius over the old one, especially in teh area of the Hybrid Synergy Drive system. The transaxle is now lighter and reduces torque losses by as much as 20%. The inverter has a new direct cooling system which results in a smaller size and lighter weight. A new brake energy regeneration system has also been fitted. The system also uses exhaust gas heat to help warm up the engine during startup for improved emissions and performance. This exhaust gas heat is also used to heat up the passenger cabin more efficiently. The body uses aluminium in the hood, rear hatch, front suspension axle and brake caliper to reduce weight.

New 2009 Ford Focus Rs.

Ford has revealed more information on the powerplant in the Ford Focus RS engine bay. The inline-5 “Duratec RS” engine puts out 305 PS between 6,500rpm to 7,050rpm (redline) and a massive 440Nm of torque between 2,300 and 4,500rpm, a good 40Nm more at the peak than the BMW M3. I believe one of the intentions of the press release are to dispel any talk that Ford simply took the easy way out and “rechipped” the Duratec ST engine to produce more power, as many had expected something more exciting such as maybe a twin turbo version with all-wheel drive.
“There was never an intention to try to ‘chip’ the ST engine. We evaluated several approaches using the ST engine and none gave us the combination of power delivery, character and durability that we wanted, so we opted to create an RS Duratec, using the ST unit as our base,” said Ford Team RS powertrain manager Len Urwin.
Ford Focus RS Engine
The engine gets a revised cylinder head gasket, metal-sprayed cylinder bores that are more durable, new pistons and a bespoke camshaft profile and conrods which allows bigger small-end bearings. The turbo has been uprated to a Borg Warner K16 that peaks out at 1.4 bar, double that of the Focus ST’s 0.7 bar boost. Ford says the turbo size was carefully picked to match the “bottom end responsiveness” of the Focus ST. The integration of the turbo to the exhaust manifold had to be strategically configured to optimise crash performance and minimize revisions to other components such as exhaust system, and oil and water pipes. It also has to take into account the car’s 20mm lower subframe.The engine’s larger intercooler can reduce air temperatures from 160 degrees Celsius at the compressor, to a maximum of 60 degrees Celsius at the intercooler outlet, in ambient temperatures of up to 38 degrees Celsius.
Urwin adds that Ford wanted to prevent the engine from feeling like it runs out of steam at the top end, something that turbo-ed engines with very flat torque curves sometimes exhibit. There is just so much of rush right from the start that you don’t feel the momentum of things picking up all the way until the end. Ford wanted to “reward” drivers who took the Duratec RS to the redline. In addition, the car’s rev needles can bounce up to 7,050rpm for about 3 seconds before it is rev-limited to 6,500rpm.
Ford Focus RS
The 6-speed manual shares the same ratios as the Focus ST but has modifications to the bearing and clutch housing as well as had its differential strengthened to take the extra power and torque. The overall gearing is 1% longer than the ST thanks to the car’s larger tyres (larger rolling circumference), and this results in the RS being able to touch 100km/h in 2nd gear. To help manage 440Nm to the front wheels which also have to steer the car, Ford has employed the use of a Quaife helical LSD. This LSD is based on the one in the original 5-speed Focus RS from the year 2002, but revised for the new 6-speed 2009 Ford Focus RS. It now has a sixth planet gear and is stronger, with a more subtle intervention and torque transfer.

I’m sure when you look at the RS, you’ll notice the large gaping front bumper intake. This is actually part of the cooling requirement, in fact 80% of the engine’s external cooling is thanks to this front grille aperture, even down to the mesh density. The car also gets a 25% larger radiator, anda lso has a larger 14 plate engine-mounted water-cooled oil cooler. The bonnet louvres are also there for a reason, to help idle cooling especially after a high-speed run.
At the front, Ford uses a RevoKnuckle suspension. While regular suspension knuckles are a one-piece design; RevoKnuckle has instead two separate pieces. In place of the regular, inverted ‘L’-shaped lower suspension mount, RevoKnuckle features a ‘C’-shaped mount, connected to both the wheel hub, via two arms and to the strut, which is attached at its top. Apparently this allows greater flexibility in tuning suspension geometry to avoid torque steer. This is sort of a hybrid between a MacPherson strut and double wishbone design, which is good as it is cheaper than a double wishbone design.
Of course, you have to pay for performance not only in the price tag of a car, but naturally more power will burn more fuel so the Focus RS also has a larger fuel tank at 62 liters up from 55 liters in the Focus ST.

Audi A'KIMONO LS2.0 Futuristic Vehicle.

This futuristic vehicle concept of Audi is called the A’KIMONO LS2.0. Designed by Teodor Kyuchukov, a Bulgarian PhD student at the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev", Bulgaria, Department of Industrial Design, who developed Audi A’KIMONO LS2.0. It features lighting design elements borrowed from traditional interior lighting practices seen in monuments, sports facilities, and architectural buildings.

The designed concept was based on the "Automotive Lighting Sculpture" in which the exterior surfaces integrate an artificial lighting system which makes the car silhouette recognizable at night. This system makes use of hidden lighting, where the source is not visible. The exterior is more recognizable at night and in the dark, reducing chances of mishap. The impressive exteriors of the body have hidden light sources, light from these sources follows the curves and lines on the surface, creating an unobtrusive effect for the viewer.

2009 PPI R8 Razor Audi GTR.

After the introduction of this wildly acclaimed car, PPI R8 RAZOR’s automotive team has used its wits from the past year in the competition and recreated this truly remarkable production car. The Audi specialist has focused on optimizing the power-to-weight ration of the Audi R8 and has strengthened the motor, increased the performance, and improved the handling dynamics.
PPI has developed high-performance brakes only available for the RAZOR GTF that can be identified by its metallic orange-colored brake calipers.
This optimal deceleration and perfect pedal pressure control is enlarged by a 6-piston calipers in connection with the extra-large discs. Proving this car is a monster, it can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 3.6 seconds and achieving top speeds of 206 mph.
